I am a Colombian- American artist, working primarily in sculpture. Driven by childhood memories and toy culture, I communicate a visual  playground of sculptural vignettes.

Over the years I have explored a maximalist approach to sweet excess. Exploiting popular sweet treats as subjects to a sugar coated reality. The confectionary theme is a vessel to tell a story about indulgence, nostalgia, and humor.

Pigmented cement transforms into confectionery “fluff”, resin appears wet to touch and automotive paint replaces traditional sculpture patinas.
